FaceTime with Kasey!

The 3rd grade EXCEL group is in the middle of a natural disasters research unit. Recently, a Professional Learning Specialist from Apple that comes to work with some of our elementary teachers put me in touch with a colleague of hers named Kasey. Kasey is also a Professional Learning Specialist with Apple. She lives in the Houston, Texas area and was affected by Hurricane Harvey. Kasey offered to FaceTime with my 3rd grade group so they could interview someone that has been directly impacted by a natural disaster. Here are a few pictures from this amazing opportunity. The students really enjoyed talking to Kasey and learning more about natural disasters. Thank you Kasey!
